  • The game takes place in a puppet show setting and is a world full of puppets on string and subtle animations.
  • Spoken words are done in rhyme.
  • Beautifully created world full of color and gorgeous locations.
  • You never die, you just get yanked up by your string and placed where you last were safe.
  • Cool little thing where the game reacts to you going back on yourself.
  • The story actually has some dark undertones.
  • At times you have a chance to rescue animals or go off the story as it were.
  • As the game progresses the gameplay mixes up and you get a lot more memorable and fun set pieces.
  • Chapter select to replay levels.

A Juggler’s Tale Review Cons:

  • The puzzles are not always clear and leave it to you.
  • For some, the talking can get a bit much especially when replaying sections.
  • No replay value.
  • Uses a lot of puzzle formulas we have seen before.
  • Never sure when the game has been saved.
  • Doesn’t offer a way to turn off the spider in the game which can be triggering to some players.
  • It’s a slow starter and gives a bad first impression.

Gaming since the Atari 2600, I enjoy the weirdness in games counting Densha De Go and RC De Go as my favourite titles of all time. I prefer gaming of old where buying games from a shop was a thing, Being social in person was a thing. Join me as I attempt to adapt to this new digital age!
