Close Up: Club Nintendo Playing Cards EU Review

Club Nintendo did a collection of playing cards a few weeks back, Showing off Mario, Luigi and the gang in high glossy detail. These cards were in short supply and it was first come first served. The cards had previously been on the catalogue in other territories as a Platinum item. Well we put down our points and picked up delivery of the cards this morning. I take my first steps in photography and these are the cards. Please enjoy.

Overall the cards are of a high quality. They are plastic so they can easily be wiped clean if by any chance you get them dirty? (strip poker perhaps?) The pictures are brilliant and every card has a Club Nintendo logo in the corner. A few complaints would be that the cards can easily stick to each other, you have to pay attention to the top left of the card to see what it actually is. Other than that they are brilliant and would look especially nice in a mounted collage showing the back and front of the card and wide design choices used.

 

For some reason the images look disgusting until you click on them. I shall get that looked in to and changed.
