  • Steam achievements.
  • Full controller support.
  • Keyboard support.
  • Sankey gameplay which is you go around collecting items and get longer as you do so.
  • OK soundtrack.

  • You can pause the game.
  • Arcade-like presentation and gameplay loop.
  • Online leaderboards support that adds a score-chase mentality to it all.

Cube Snake Review Cons:

  • No tutorial.
  • You cannot remap the controls for both the keyboard and the controller.
  • No way to change or rate the camera.
  • The controller doesn’t seem to work well with the menus at a game over.
  • The music is on a loop and it’s not ideal.
  • Slow-paced gameplay.
  • Due to the angles judging movement is hard.
  • At times it feels like you don’t know what killed you.
  • It’s not a smooth experience.
  • You can save your score but if you accidentally press the wrong menu choice like credits (which is really easy to do) then your score gets wiped.
  • Only one achievement showing.

Gaming since the Atari 2600, I enjoy the weirdness in games counting Densha De Go and RC De Go as my favourite titles of all time. I prefer gaming of old where buying games from a shop was a thing, Being social in person was a thing. Join me as I attempt to adapt to this new digital age!
