Essays on Empathy

Spanish wordsmiths Deconstructeam (The Red Strings Club) have announced Essays on Empathy

A curated compilation of Deconstructeam’s most engaging efforts in seeking new narrative experiences in games is coming to PC on May 18th. You can add  Essays On Empathy to your wishlist or buy from the Steam store now.

Essays on Empathy collects 10 unique, offbeat tales including “De Tres al Cuarto,” a brand new short experience exclusive to the compilation about a couple of two-bit comedians trying to make it big. Inhabit the lives of a diverse cast of characters from all walks of life in bite-sized, innovative, interactive stories; from a hitman working at a flower shop, to a schoolgirl who is convinced her skeleton isn’t hers.

“It’s not the sort of role play I’m a connoisseur of,” growled Devolver Digital CMO Fork Parker. “But 10-for-1 is a good deal no matter what your kinks are.”

Gaming since the Atari 2600, I enjoy the weirdness in games counting Densha De Go and RC De Go as my favourite titles of all time. I prefer gaming of old where buying games from a shop was a thing, Being social in person was a thing. Join me as I attempt to adapt to this new digital age!
