Deep Beyond Review Pros:
- Beautiful graphics.
- 518.2MB download size.
- Nine trophies.
- Adventure gameplay with puzzle elements.
- Game settings – subtitles, and camera speed slider.
- Six chapters and a chapter are selected for any unlocked chapters.
- Fantastic color palette that makes everything pop and look unique.
- Good voice work.
- Does the cool effect of doing split-screen as actions happen.
- Good soundtrack, it’s not my cup of tea but it suits the game well.
- Anything Interactive will emit a white outline.
- First-person view.
- The story is one of treasure hunting, twists, and flashbacks explain the story.
- Full 3D game World and you have full camera control.
- It’s a really great bit of entertainment.
- I found myself wanting to play it all in one sitting as I had to know what happened next.
- Orange-colored parts of the world can help guide you around or show interactive elements before the white outline.
- Multiple endings.
- Very easy trophy list.
Deep Beyond Review Cons:
- No Colourblind support.
- The performances can be a bit robotic and flat in places.
- No Platinum trophy.
- Just as the game picks up the pace, it ends.
- Aside from the different endings, there is little reason to replay.
- You can finish the game in under an hour.
- You cannot remap the controls.
- Interactions don’t always tell you what the controls are.
- When replaying the last scene to get different endings, you cannot fast forward or skip the conversations.
