Summary

Dodonpachi has always been the first name mentioned when you talk about shmups, Dodonpachi is and still is the benchmark that all other games are measured against and after playing this, I can see why. I am in no way a good player, I am a put infinite lives on and have fun kinda guy and it has not disappointed me at all. The music is incredible, the vast array of game types and styles is staggering and its just so much God dam fun to play, Veterans have spoken much about this port and the general consensus is that this is a solid port in terms of gameplay but also performance, take my word for it as this performance and options stuff really matters to the hardcore and here it is intact. I will never be an awesome player but I will forever be a fan and at any opportunity, I will play it and play it again and again.

Gaming since the Atari 2600, I enjoy the weirdness in games counting Densha De Go and RC De Go as my favourite titles of all time. I prefer gaming of old where buying games from a shop was a thing, Being social in person was a thing. Join me as I attempt to adapt to this new digital age!
