DOOM Eternal’s Free Next Gen Update is Live Now with Update 6

DOOM Eternal’s Free Next Gen Update is Live Now with Update 6 and is available today, highlighted by the arrival of a free next-gen console upgrade for all current owners of DOOM Eternal. This next-gen update includes improved visuals, increased performance, support for ray tracing and 4K resolution at 60 frames per second, and a new 120 FPS mode for console players. Update 6 also includes the new Taras Nabad Master Level as well as a new BATTLE MODE arena, free for all players.

Please note all resolutions listed above have dynamic resolution scaling enabled. Compatible monitor required for Graphics Modes and HDR. Performance Mode requires a 120hz compatible display. Balanced & Performance Modes are not available with Ray Tracing. All resolutions listed require a compatible display.

New Master Level: Taras Nabad

Update 6 also includes a new Master Level for players on all systems to take on. The capital of Argent D’Nur, Taras Nabad was once the victim of a major demonic invasion that further cemented the legend of the DOOM Slayer. Now it’s time to return to the city in the Master Level challenge to show those demons that the first time wasn’t a fluke!

New BATTLE MODE Arena & More

DOOM Eternal’s 2v1 BATTLE MODE is also getting some new turf with an all-new arena: Corrosion. Update 6 also features a host of BATTLE MODE improvements, enhancing DOOM Eternal’s multiplayer mode with multiple bandwidth optimizations, bug fixes, and a whole host of balance changes.
