Summary

Endling: Extinction is Forever is an action-adventure game that offers a unique blend of 3D and side-on gameplay. The game features an opening tutorial section with ongoing pop-ups, a powerful soundtrack, and in-game cutscenes with seamless transitions. The goal of the game is to protect and feed your fox cubs at all costs, with actions including climbing, digging, tracking scents, stealth, and pounce attacks.

The game also includes puzzle elements sprinkled throughout the world, a full day and night cycle, and an amazing yet devastated world to explore. However, the game has some drawbacks. Touching any of the graphics settings can cause issues with the game’s functionality, and it can be hard to see the points with which you can interact. Additionally, the initial tracking part is not as clear as it needs to be, and there can be times when it’s unclear where to go or what the objective is. Despite these issues, Endling: Extinction Forever offers a stressful yet chilled-out gaming experience where the story is the main focus and for the most part the gameplay doesn’t detract from the experience.
