  • Opening tutorial section.
  • Action-platformer gameplay.
  • The goal of the game is to rescue people, put out fires and escape.
  • Earn fans from mission performance and these are needed to progress and build up the headquarters.
  • It’s a 2.5D world with you getting set angles at times along with the ability to look up and down.
  • Use the hose to extinguish flames but also jump higher.
  • Water is governed by a meter and you can pick up water refills in the level.
  • Ax to smash down doors/walls/debris.
  • Earn awards and place them on your fire suit.
  • Shop – buy upgrades for your hose and unlock new features and abilities.
  • Earn cash from missions.
  • Each level has bonus secrets and people to rescue.
  • You get a deal of freedom.
  • Cool enemies.
  • You can still shoot water without water in your tank hit it slower and less powerful.

FireGirl Hack N Splash Rescue Review Cons:

  • No Steam achievements.
  • Music is not great.
  • Breaking things is time-consuming.
  • You get such little time rewards for killing enemies.
  • Tries to be a serious and fun game at the same time and it doesn’t work.
  • The upgrades are scarce.
  • Using the hose jump is not great.
  • You spend more time with no water than you do with water.
  • No map or anything to help navigation.
  • It can be hard to see routes/enemies.
  • No voice work.
  • It all feels a bit bland.
