Magrunner Dark Pulse, the action/reflection game for PC, Xbox LIVE and PlayStation Network, today unveils more through the very first video of the game! In the near future, in 2050, a handful of young and brilliant citizens have been chosen by Gruckezber Corporation to join the Magtech training program for space exploration. Equipped with a special glove using Gruckezberg’s technology, the candidates have to solve their way through a huge maze of challenge rooms, by magnetically charging objects that will attract or repel each other. But when an earthquake disrupts the training program, what seemed to be the chance of a lifetime for the candidates will soon become a descent into folly and cosmic horror! Developed on Unreal Engine 3, Magrunner transports players into the near future, where technology will confront the Cthulhu Mythos as it was imagined by the author of fantasy novels, H.P. Lovecraft.
In 2050, the hero of Magrunner is selected to participate in the Magrunner spatial program organized by Magtech Corporation, using a new technology destined to produce clean energy. The participants will have to harness the power of this technology to complete the challenges of the training course. Covered by the media, the event takes the world by storm with all eyes locked on live streams. Magrunner puts your reflexes and brain to the test, with simple yet exciting mechanics: with the Magtech glove, you can load objects with different charges. Two items loaded with the same charge will attract each other, while two items loaded with different charges will repel! With these simple mechanics opens
a broad range of possibilities. Upon mastering them you will be able to progress along the game, solving puzzles by studying your surroundings, testing possibilities and analyzing their effects.
