Following the successful launch of Velocity 2X on PS4 and PS Vita, FuturLab has announced today that its games have been downloaded over a million times from PlayStation Store in Europe alone.

James Marsden, FuturLab’s Managing Director said:

When we embarked on our first title for PSP Minis, the only advice we were given was that as a small team we were on the wrong platform, but I couldn’t accept that. By producing a stream of nine critically acclaimed games in the space of four years, this milestone shows that small teams with talent, ambition and commitment can build IP and successful businesses within the PlayStation ecosystem.

“We’re absolutely delighted by the success of Velocity 2X, and now eager to get cracking on our next exciting project! We need two new team members to help; a network programmer and an experienced artist. Candidates should check out our jobs page for more information!”

Gaming since the Atari 2600, I enjoy the weirdness in games counting Densha De Go and RC De Go as my favourite titles of all time. I prefer gaming of old where buying games from a shop was a thing, Being social in person was a thing. Join me as I attempt to adapt to this new digital age!
