Summary

I don’t know what it is but me and this game didn’t get along at all. The idea of it is simple, colored shapes come down and you have to swap ship colors to match the one you are shooting for a score or use the wrong color and lose the score. My problem is not only is it very repetitive, the controls are just loose enough that moving and shooting are not possible and when you are up against it, you can’t be having that. The unlocks are God knows what as they won’t tell you, earning enough score for one of the cheap upgrades takes an Eternity, the loading screens are long, and get really there is nothing here to keep you playing in a session let alone a returning session. It says it’s inspired by the eighties but the music and style don’t say that so I’m intrigued as to what they meant by that. As it is Geometric Feel The Beats is not a game I “feel” at all and is not a lot of fun either.

Gaming since the Atari 2600, I enjoy the weirdness in games counting Densha De Go and RC De Go as my favourite titles of all time. I prefer gaming of old where buying games from a shop was a thing, Being social in person was a thing. Join me as I attempt to adapt to this new digital age!
