  • No local multiplayer which is a huge oversight.
  • Cannot rebind controls.
  • Takes a bit of getting used to the flow and judging distances.
  • The AI can get a bit clingy and it makes finishing solo jobs harder.
  • So easy to damage property.
  • When playing offline the game still requires you to leave the party in order to watch new narratives and if you miss it or decline then you have to restart the game to trigger it.
  • Got stuck in a weird loop in solo play where I couldn’t back out of the job setup screen.
  • A fair bit to take in and remember.
  • Random crashes and the game closing down.
  • Had and still have the contracts locking and unlocking themselves.
  • Daily and weekly challenges are for online or require online subs to use and even see.
  • Levelling up gear takes a long time.
  • The performance of the game is actually worse on the big screen.

Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed is a 4v1 action game that lets you play as a Ghostbuster or a ghost in various locations. You can customize your character and gear, unlock new upgrades and gadgets, and collect fungus for rewards. The game features an official license, excellent voice work, an iconic theme tune, and many Easter eggs from the franchise. You can also enjoy the game solo with AI teammates and enemies. The game has recently added new content and events for Halloween. However, the game also has some drawbacks, such as no local multiplayer, no rebindable controls, easy property damage, and some bugs and glitches. Overall, the game is a lot of fun and addictive for fans of Ghostbusters. It really is a ton of fun regardless if you play solo or with friends, This is the definitive Ghostbuster game and the only one you need.
