Gran Turismo 6 Weirdness Going On

I am enjoying Gran Turismo 6 despite the lack of endurance races and B-Spec but last night something weird and annoying happened. I started the night masters championship and all was well, I had a slight collision with a wall which beached me for a short time. Other than that all was well. But upon crossing the line in 1st and on the last lap, This should of ended the race, Instead it shunted me into 10th place and made me do another handful of laps. So many in fact that the night event soon turned to day. I still cannot work out what happened and will probably always be a mystery. I know this isn’t  glitch that benefits anyone, So no money glitch or the like here. I just thought its worth showing.

If you want to see the lap counter reset then fast forward the video to the 6 minute mark. I cant remember where I hit the wall but it was in the first lap I think.
