Join Murderous Pursuits’ First and Only Open Beta, Last Chance to Play Before Launch

Whet your appetite for Victorian assassination before Murderous Pursuits launches on April 26th Glasgow based developer Blazing Griffin is excited to announce that PC-exclusive multiplayer stealth-em-up game, Murderous Pursuits, lavishly launches on Steam on April 26th, 2018.

Not content to make would-be assassins wait until then, Blazing Griffin is throwing open the doors to the HMCS Britannic for the chance to dive into the game for free, by kicking off the first and only Murderous Pursuits Open Beta. Beginning at the stroke of midnight on Friday 20th April on Steam, players will have until 5am on Monday 23rd April to hunt and assassinate as many quarries as possible… and there’s even a chance to play against the developers.

Created by the team behind The Ship: Remasted, Murderous Pursuits is a tense ‘kill or be killed’ multiplayer stealth game. Take on up to eight players aboard the Victorian-era airship, all plotting glorious murder as they track their assigned quarry, avoiding hunters and hiding in plain sight.

 

For those looking to dive into the Open Beta and get a taste for how this spiritual successor to Blazing Griffin’s PC classic The Ship moves the genre forward (seriously, it takes place on a flying, time-travelling ship), it could not be easier to join. Simply visit the Murderous Pursuits’ Open Beta page on Steam and install the free client – it’s as easy as blending into a crowd with a piano leg!

If you fancy some healthy competition with other would-be assassins, the official Murderous Pursuits Discord server is your hub for all things Victorian murder – whether you’re looking to host a custom match, or want to take on the developers. Developer games will take place on 21st and 22nd April, with timings to be announced on the Murderous Pursuits Twitter, giving you a chance beat them at their own game… if you can.

Blazing Griffin is also rewarding the top five highest scorers. If you think you can take on the best of them, simply take a screenshot of your highest mark and share it on the official Murderous Pursuits Twitter, for the chance to win a free key to the deluxe version of the game on launch, and ultimate bragging rights.

Available for wishlisting now, Murderous Pursuits will retail for £17.99 at launch and will be joined by a deluxe edition of the game (£24.99) that will feature a digital art book, 8 additional character skins, 11 Wallpapers and a Custom Win Taunt.
