Jumanji The Videogame Review Cons:

  • Cannot rebind controls.
  • Not the actor’s voices.
  • Odd bouts of slowdown.
  • Not always clear what to do.
  • The camera goes really screwy when aiming down the sights.
  • The game is split into little sections but it’s the same gameplay over and over.
  • No facial expressions.
  • Forgettable and mostly insignificant story.
  • Extra ornaments hidden up high everywhere are only for score and score is pointless.
  • Small limited ammo capacity.
  • The game is structured in a way that when you finish a location it boots you back to the main menu.
  • When you finish all the locations it just ends, no cutscenes or anything just back to the menu.
  • Grenades go off after time meaning they are pointless.
  • Every location plays the same.
  • Online only trophies.
  • Annoying sections have an unkillable animal that can one-shot kill you.

Gaming since the Atari 2600, I enjoy the weirdness in games counting Densha De Go and RC De Go as my favourite titles of all time. I prefer gaming of old where buying games from a shop was a thing, Being social in person was a thing. Join me as I attempt to adapt to this new digital age!
