Magic: The Gathering Returns To The Fan-Favourite World of Zendikar
Wizards of the Coast is thrilled to announce the release of the latest card expansion for Magic: The Gathering: Zendikar Rising. Now available for play in the Magic: The Gathering Arena video game, downloadable for free here, Zendikar Rising will also become available physically on September 25th next week.
The new set now available for play in MTG Arena introduces 280 cards, heavily focused on and themed around adventuring parties, problem solving and resource manipulation.
Introducing new mechanics such as Modal Double-Faced Cards and Party, and re-introducing fan favourite mechanics such as Kicker and Landfall, Zendikar Rising will present unique and interesting deck building challenges to players.
Zendikar Rising also introduces Set Boosters for tabletop players, a brand new experience that is packed with adventure and guarantees adrenaline from the moment the players open their pack.
Set Boosters are designed with the chance to get up to four rare or mythic cards in a single pack, resulting in a thrilling experience from start to finish. Set Boosters will also include Art Cards, debuted in Modern Horizons, which showcase the industry-leading art that is an integral part of Magic: The Gathering.
In addition, some products will have codes redeemable in Magic: The Gathering Arena, continuing to highlight the parity between the physical and digital versions of the game., such as prerelease packs which contain codes allowing players to redeem for free booster packs in Magic: The Gathering Arena.
