For our Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak Review, we encounter a new foe, renowned as the “Fierce Flame of Kamura” since the events of Monster Hunter Rise, you must set sail to uncover the cause of a terrible threat facing a kingdom across the sea! Arriving in Elgado Outpost, you discover that the abnormal events threatening this kingdom are caused by Malzeno, Lunagaron, and Garangolm – terrifying monsters known locally as the Three Lords. In addition to these new enemies, You must also face old foes as series monsters not featured in Monster Hunter Rise make their return!

- Free DLC – Black belt S hunter armor set, supplies from Kingdom 1, F Elgado Palico armor set, F Elgado Palamute armor set.
- Play the demo and get a bonus reward.
- Palamutes can now hold additional items found in-game and sniff them out the command to find herbs or endemic life.
- All new opening cutscene once you do the first 7-star hunt.
- Armour can now have a secondary pigment color added to it.
- Meet new characters.
- Elgado outpost is your new hub.
- Master Rank (MR) is the new rank you earn as you do key quests.
- The open world map is the option that allows you to fast travel between points in both Kamura Village and Elgado Outpost.
- New FREE outfit for Cohoot.
- You can now swap Switch skills during the quest! Beforehand it was done in between hunts.
- Edit Switch skills in the hub or tents.
- Buddy recon – send out a buddy to scout one point in a location and allows you to fast travel to them.
- You personally need to discover the recon points when playing/exploring.
- It improved the training area with a few little additions.
- Once you set a quest you can press a button and depart instantly.
- The jungle is a new area complete with daytime/nighttime versions and a new opening cinematic. Only available in master rank.
- Hopping Skewer is a new way to eat food and it will affect how good the effects are depending on the location of the food on the skewer.
- All new hunts.
Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak Review Cons:
- Compiling shaders takes a while again.
- Long initial load time.
- Difficulty spikes.
- Can be hard to find online players for the higher-level hunts.
- Takes some getting used to which port/town does what.
