For our Mugen Souls Review, We join Chou-Chou on her mission to conquer the universe and its seven worlds! In this anime-style JRPG, you’ll take command of trusty companion Altis, loyal peon Ryuto, and more, as Chou-Chou turns the heroes and demon lords of each world into her personal servants and thus frees the universe of conflict under her ultimate control. But will it all go as planned?

Mugen Souls Review Pros:

Brilliant Anime graphics.
3GB download size.
Japanese or English voice choice.
Five save slots.
Includes all previous DLC.
Controller settings – Invert axis and sensitivity sliders, along with the camera speed slider.
Skip cutscenes – on/off.
Free bundle in extras gives things like gold, equipment items, etc. You can view each entry and enable/disable it as you see fit.
In game and FMV cutscenes.
Have interactions skipped or automatically progress.
Full voice work for the characters.
Turn-based combat.
In combat you have a radius that you can attack within, the combat area shows how far and where you can move.
End of combat breakdown showing exp/mugen/gold earned.
Save when you want.
Huge spaceship battles.
Central hub to buy and sell items, get quests, etc.
Moe Kill: A technique to enslave enemies and turn them into items.
Free roaming open world.
A story that goes a lot of places.
The combat is good and does try a lot of new things.

Mugen Souls Review Cons:

Any extras from the bundle you enabled will pop on the screen so if you did them all that’s a lot of clicking!
So much to take in.
Tutorial pop-ups and is full of streams of small text and big pictures.
Real slow starter.
Does have a big grinding need to it.
There are so many mechanics and features to take in.
It is funny because the bonus DLC can make the game way too easy.
