Summary

NecroBoy is a minion control puzzle game, raise your army of minions from the dead and command them to do your bidding, minions can hit switches and stay in position which is all the actions you need to get past the increasingly difficult crypts. The performance of the game itself troubled me as one time it could run fine and then the next it’s almost a slide show, it was just inconsistent. The controls are easy enough to learn but I did find the keyboard and mouse to be a lot easier than the controller, the controller is fine but when the performance hit is smashing the frame rate or you need a pinpoint accuracy command it would be lacking. Overall I found NecroBoy to be a good little puzzle-filled diversion and whilst it is a one-and-done type deal, it is fun and apart from a handful of levels it’s relatively good brain food.
