Page Chronica Game Walkthrough

General strategy:

  • Form words that are as long as possible and as “high-scoring” as possible.
  • Try to form words that use the special letters as much as possible to trigger the special word bonus.
  • When trying to trigger the special word bonus, form short words of 2-3 letters as fast as possible to quickly get all the special letters needed.

Backstage: Page Z. Borders >> Training Grounds (Act 0)

Dream feathers:

  • None

Music Records:

  • Music Record Track 1 – My Stories to Share
    • Near the middle of the stage, at the area where there are two “flying pillows” moving up a wall, stay at the top of the wall until another “flying pillow” comes along and jump on top of it. The “flying pillow” will move you up where you will find the first Music Record to the left.
  • Music Record Track 18 – When A Story Ends, Another Begins
    • Same area, but instead of jumping left, jump right on the platform with the spikes. You will need the Aegis Shield spell unlocked first. Continue jumping across the platforms with spikes until you see the Music Record.

Level strategy:

Pretty basic, just run from start to finish as quickly as possible while forming “high-scoring” words to get the A+ Rank. (Gold Time: 2 min 30 sec and below)

Stage 1: The Rat Parade >> The River Town (Act 1)

Dream feathers:

  • Feather 1 (Needs Luna Frost attack to be unlocked)
    • Near the area after the fire-breathing Grim-Box and before the second checkpoint, take the upper path where there are a lot of hovering Viral Eggs. Using the Luna Frost attack, freeze the Viral Eggs into platforms. The Dream Feather is on top of the highest Viral Egg.
  • Feather 2
    • Instead of going the path where the second checkpoint is, take the bottom path where there a few patrolling Puppet Rats. The Dream Feather is at the end of the path.
  • Feather 3
    • At the end of the level, before you jump off the high wall to reach the finishing point, make a long double-jump to reach the Dream Feather.

Music Records:

  • Music Record Track 3 – Sprinting Over Water
    • Near the end of the stage, after the third checkpoint, instead of taking the bottom path, jump onto the top platform, wait for the “flying pillow”, jump on top of it, move up, and jump onto the high platform. Afterwards, continue jumping across the platforms in the air while avoiding or destroying the Viral Eggs until you reach the last platform where the Music Record is.

Level strategy:

Pretty basic, just run from start to finish as quickly as possible while forming “high-scoring” words to get the A+ Rank. If possible, avoid destroying enemies because that will waste time. (Gold Time: 3 min 00 sec and below)

**If you die after grabbing a Dream Feather or Music Record, it is still stored with the player so that the player does not need to go and collect them again. However, the Dream Feather is not considered collected until the player completes the level. E.g. if the player exits the level after grabbing a Dream Feather, it is not considered collected and won’t be shown in the Vault.

Stage 1: The Rat Parade >> A Music Forest (Act 2)

Dream feathers:

  • Feather 4
    • After the first checkpoint and after a circle of hovering Viral Eggs you will reach an area with 2 log platforms between 3 beds of spikes. Afterwards, there will be two paths. Take the higher path and you will see the Dream Feather.
  • Feather 5 (Needs Range Cannon spell to be unlocked)
    • In the area where the third checkpoint is, move right till you see a drop pit. At the extreme right of the drop pit, there is a switch. Activate your Range Cannon spell to be able to hit the switch with an attack. Then move left of the third checkpoint past a bed of spikes to find the Dream Feather.
  • Feather 6
    • After the third checkpoint, jump onto the upper path until you reach a bed of spikes and a bridge that is directly above you. Using a reverse double-jump (jump once left and then jump once right or vice versa), jump onto the bridge and the one above it and you will find the Dream Feather.

Music Records:

  • Music Record Track 2 – It’s Nice to Return
    • Before the first checkpoint, just before the fire-breathing Grim Box, while standing on the extreme left of the “flying pillow” when it is at its highest peak, double-jump to the left to reach the Music Record.
  • Music Record Track 4 – Barefoot Across the Hills
    • After the third checkpoint and before the disappearing platforms, jump onto the first disappearing platform, face left, freeze the incoming Viral Egg into a platform in order to reach the Music Record.

Level strategy:

Pretty basic, just run from start to finish as quickly as possible while forming “high-scoring” words to get the A+ Rank. Avoid hitting the spikes as they can be very damaging. And remember the sequence in which the Disappearing Platforms appear. (Gold Time: 3 min 30 sec and below)

Stage 1: The Rat Parade >> Sewer Cave (Act 3)

Dream feathers:

  • Feather 7
    • When the game starts, move left till you find a drop pit. Carefully fall into the pit but make sure you keep to the right so that you will fall onto a platform instead. Grab the Dream Feather then use reverse double-jumps to get back up.
  • Feather 8 (Needs Range Cannon spell to be unlocked)
    • After the second checkpoint, when the player reaches an area with a “flying pillow” that moves up and down to show two different paths, the player must drop to the lower path, destroy the Grim Box that is blocking your path using the Range Cannon spell, and move along the lower path until you reach the Dream Feather. Use quick double-jumps to jump across the drop pits.
  • Feather 9 (Needs Range Cannon spell to be unlocked)
    • After the third checkpoint, jump onto the “flying pillow” that will lower you down to the bottom path. At the extreme left of the drop pit, there is a switch. Activate your Range Cannon spell to be able to hit the switch with an attack. That will open up a gate on the right for you to grab the Dream Feather.

Music Records:

  • Music Record Track 5 – Lead to the Beat
    • After the first checkpoint, the player can find the Music Record located below the “flying pillow”. Use double-jump to collect it and then land safely onto the bottom path.

Level strategy:

Be careful of drop pits and use double-jumps as much as possible. After the third checkpoint, if the player takes the bottom path, there will come a part where a “flying pillow” will actually block the player from jumping onto a higher platform. Wait for the “flying pillow” to move out of the way before double-jumping. Also, time your double-jumps properly to reach maximum height or maximum distance. You can also shoot down the bubble attacks from the Soggy Rats. (But a Solar Blast attack has no effect.)

(Gold Time: 4 min 00 sec and below)

Stage 1: The Rat Parade >> Rat Maestro (Boss Act)

Dream feathers:

  • None

Music Records:

  • None

Level strategy:

Form high-scoring words and hit the boss whenever you can while the boss is still in the front. When the boss moves to the back of the world, it cannot be hit. If you have difficulty forming “high-scoring” words, form a quick succession of short 2-3 letter words using the special letters in order to trigger the special word bonus.

How to avoid its attacks:

Bubble Attack: Avoid the bubbles by moving away or shooting them down. (Solar Blast has no effect.)

Music Wave: Jump or Double-jump over them.

Rat Stampede: Jump on top of the Disappearing Platforms to avoid falling onto the stampede.

Raining Crystals: Hide below the Disappearing Platforms to avoid getting hit by them.

(Gold Time: 2 min 30 sec and below)

(Range Cannon Spell unlocked!)

Stage 2: Giant Beanstalk >> Factory Farmland (Act 1)

Dream feathers:

  • Feather 10 (Needs Health Cure spell to be unlocked)
    • Near the beginning, before the gate that is left of fire-breathing Grim-Box, there is a path covered by Green Poison Clouds. Activate your Health Cure spell and enter the path. Using the “flying pillows”, reach the extreme left end to find the Dream Feather.
  • Feather 11 (Needs Luna Frost attack to be unlocked)
    • Near the second checkpoint, there is a Spring Flea that jumps very high when you are close to it. While it is still in the air, use your Luna Frost attack to freeze it into a platform that will allow you to double-jump onto a higher platform. Use a reverse double-jump to reach another higher platform to find the Dream Feather.
  • Feather 12
    • Just before the third checkpoint, there will be an area that requires the player to travel up a few floors of platforms. Jump to the highest floor (you will see a row of 4 Magic Stones: 1 Earth Stone, 1 Star Stone, 1 Moon Stone and 1 Sun Stone), and move left till you see a platform with a cow whose back is facing you. Jump down one of the gaps next to this platform, but be prepared to double jump onto the platform that holds the Dream Feather.

Music Records:

  • Music Record Track 6 – Sleepy Sunshine
    • Near the beginning, after the gate and the fire-breathing Grim-Box, move up the wall to find another Grim Box on a high platform. Destroy the Grim Box in order to jump onto the platform. While on the platform, you will see a hovering Viral Egg that moves up and down. Use your Luna Frost attack to freeze it into a platform that will allow you to double-jump onto the high wall where the Music Record is.
  • Music Record Track 15 – Remember ME (My Enemy)?
    • After the second checkpoint and before the player drops down to a bottom path, the player will encounter a beanstalk with a Sun Stone in the middle just before a cow. Jump into the center of the beanstalk to collect the Sun Stone first, and use a reverse double-jump to jump on top of the beanstalk to find the Music Record.

Level strategy:

Be careful of the Green Poison Clouds. Any contact with them will result in the player being poisoned. Player’s health will then decrease at a rate of 3 HP per sec over a period of 10 sec from the most recent contact. Also beware of the moving spikes. They will only reveal themselves when you are close to them (you will see clouds of smoke on the ground.) To avoid them, you can either trigger the moving spike first by moving close enough and then jumping over them when they appear, or run across them quickly before they appear.

(Gold Time: 5 min 00 sec and below)

Stage 2: Giant Beanstalk >> Sky Estate (Act 2)

Dream feathers:

  • Feather 13
    • When the level first starts, move right until a few platforms will lead you to the second floor of platforms. Then move left until you encounter a platform encircled by Viral Eggs. Jump onto this platform and then double-jump as far left as possible to land on a platform with the Dream Feather.
  • Feather 14 (Needs Health Cure spell to be unlocked)
    • After the second checkpoint, there will be a path covered with Purple Bind Clouds. Activate your Health Cure spell and enter the path. Hit the switch to open the gate to obtain the Dream Feather.
  • Feather 15
    • After the third checkpoint, you will find the Dream Feather. Use quick double-jumps to get it and then return back to the upper path.

Music Records:

  • Music Record Track 7 – Rise for the Sky
    • After the first checkpoint and after the first gate, you will encounter a few Missile Launchers. Use your Luna Frost attack to freeze the green Straight Missiles into platforms that will allow you to jump onto the wall above the gate where the Music Record is.

Level strategy:

Be careful of the Purple Bind Clouds. Any contact with them will result in the player being unable to attack. You will also encounter the Viral Cocoon which cannot be hurt at the moment. Jump over them to avoid them.  Also take note that if you get hit by a Straight Missile directly or get hit by the later explosion, you will get poisoned. But you can shoot down the Missiles.

(Gold Time: 5 min 00 sec and below)

(Health Cure Spell unlocked!)

Stage 2: Giant Beanstalk >> Monstrous Castle (Act 3)

Dream feathers:

  • Feather 16 (Needs Luna Frost attack to be unlocked)
    • When the game starts, move right till you find a Grim-Box. Instead of jumping on the “flying pillow” to move up, jump right onto a Missile Launcher. Be careful, the Missile Launcher also shoots upwards, but you can still stand at the edge of the Missile Launcher without getting hit. Use your Luna Frost attack to freeze the Straight Missiles into platforms that will allow you to jump onto the next Missile Launcher. Continue moving right until you find the Dream Feather. Continue moving right from there to return back to the usual path.
  • Feather 17 (Needs Luna Frost attack to be unlocked)
    • After the second checkpoint, take the upper path where the Bounce Fleas are. Find the switch hidden in the Purple Bind Clouds. Activate your Health Cure spell to hit the switch. Then use your Luna Frost attack to freeze the switch in place to keep the gate open. Move left of the switch and jump onto the high platform to find the Dream Feather.
  • Feather 18
    • After the second checkpoint, take the upper path where the Bounce Fleas are. Continue moving right and then take another upper path. Continue moving right without dropping onto the lower path. You will reach an area with a hovering Viral Cocoon moving in circles. Avoid it and jump onto the higher platform to find the Dream Feather.

Music Records:

  • Music Record Track 8 – Aerial Anthem Chorus
    • After the third checkpoint, there will be a lower path with a switch at the entrance. Hit the switch, and then use your Luna Frost attack to freeze the switch in place to keep the gate open. Move right of the switch, grab the Dream Feather, and quickly return left before the gate closes.

Level strategy:

Be careful of the purple Trace Missiles. They will follow your position until they hit you, hit obstacles or explode on their own. You will also encounter a new type of switch and gate. After hitting the switch, the gate will stay open for a while before closing again.

(Gold Time: 5 min 00 sec and below)

Stage 2: Giant Beanstalk >> Zombie Giant (Boss Act)

Dream feathers:

  • None

Music Records:

  • None

Level strategy:

Form high-scoring words and hit the boss whenever you can while the boss’s foot is still in the front. When the boss drags his foot to the back of the world, it cannot be hit. If you have difficulty forming “high-scoring” words, form a quick succession of short 2-3 letter words using the special letters in order to trigger the special word bonus. By default, the boss will stomp his feet alternately one after the other. (E.g. after stomping the left foot, he will stomp the right foot.) To defeat the boss quickly, stay at least two “tiles” away from the foot when it is retreating. Do not attack too close to the foot or “cause” his feet to criss-cross. Otherwise, you will trigger the other attacks that will waste time.

How to avoid its attacks:

Single-stomp: Avoid the falling foot by constantly moving out of the way. Timing of your movements is important. You will instantly die if crushed.

Double-stomp: Best solution is to jump into one of the “holes” to avoid being crashed. You can also try to outrun the falling feet, which will give you more time to attack. Look out for the Fleas that will fall from the sky.

Dropping Straight Missiles: Move away from their paths to avoiding getting hit. Jump up if necessary to avoid the later explosions.

Dropping Trace Missiles: Either shoot them down, or move away until they explode.

(Gold Time: 3 min 00 sec and below)

(Luna Frost Attack unlocked!)

*To defeat the Bosses faster, hit them with a Luna Frost Attack first to lower their defense. Then any subsequent attacks that hit them when they are covered in ice will double in damage.

Stage 3: A Witch’s Feast >> Candy Desert (Act 1)

Dream feathers:

  • Feather 19
    • Just before the first checkpoint, there are two Missile Launchers to the left. Using Luna Frost to freeze the Straight Missiles into platforms, jump onto the top Missile Launcher to find the Dream Feather.
  • Feather 20 (Needs Slow Watch Spell to be unlocked)
    • Near the second checkpoint, move left to find a bottom path with Time Bombs. Activate your Slow Watch spell and enter the path. You will find the Dream Feather at the extreme left. Quickly return right before the Time Bombs explode.
  • Feather 21 (Needs Solar Blast attack to be unlocked)
    • After the second checkpoint, there will be an area that is closed behind a gate and filled with Blue Heavy Clouds. Use a Solar Blast attack to hit the switch behind the gate to open it, and then activate your Health Cure spell to enter the area and grab the Dream Feather.

Music Records:

  • Music Record Track 9 – Walking in a Tea Cup
    • After the third checkpoint and after the gate, move right to jump up onto the higher platform and move left till you reach a gap blocked by a wall. Do a “falling double-jump” (jump down a gap to avoid the wall, and then jump again to reach the platform on the other side) to reach where the Music Record is.

Level strategy:

Be careful of the Blue Heavy Clouds. Any contact with them will result in the player being unable to jump or move fast. Also beware of the Biscuit Dragons. They will only move towards you when you are close to them. To avoid them, you can either lure them first by moving close enough and then jumping after they move their position, or run below them quickly before they move.

(Gold Time: 5 min 30 sec and below)

Stage 3: A Witch’s Feast >> Sweet Cottage (Act 2)

Dream feathers:

  • Feather 22
    • After the first checkpoint, and after moving up a wall on a “flying pillow” next to two Missile Launchers, there will be a path of Disappearing Platforms to the left. Follow the path until you find the Dream Feather.
  • Feather 23 (Needs Slow Watch Spell to be unlocked)
    • After the second checkpoint, move right until you will find a bottom path. Follow the bottom path to the right until you encounter a row of very fast Conveyor Belts below a row of spikes. Activate your Slow Watch spell to move across them to find the Dream Feather.
  • Feather 24 (Needs Slow Watch Spell to be unlocked)
    • Just below the third checkpoint, there is a gate that opens and closes repeatedly. If you just dash below it, you will be crashed. Activate your Slow Watch spell to move across the gate to obtain the Dream Feather.

Music Records:

  • Music Record Track 10 – Carrot Cake n’ Stick
    • When the level first starts, move right until a few platforms will lead you to the upper path of platforms. Make sure you leave at least one of the encircling Viral Eggs alive. Use Luna Frost to freeze one of them into a platform and use it to jump onto the higher platform on the left. Then move left until you encounter a platform encircled by Viral Eggs. Then use a Solar Blast attack to hit the switch behind the gate to open it, and enter the area to grab the Music Record.

Level strategy:

Be careful of the Conveyor Belts. They will push you to the side when you stand on them. You can either run across them or jump (faster) across them. Some Conveyor Belts may be too fast to run across.

Also beware of the Time Bombs. The arrow on their face indicates how much time it takes for them to explode. They start to countdown the moment you jump on them. Once they explode, they will not re-spawn unless you die or restart the level.

Take note of the Fire Launchers. You can use a Luna Frost attack to destroy the fireball.

Furthermore, when facing a Viral Cocoon, it would be best to use your Luna Frost attack to freeze them first before moving over them.

(Gold Time: 6 min 00 sec and below)

(Slow Watch Spell unlocked!)

Stage 3: A Witch’s Feast >> Kitchen Prison (Act 3)

Dream feathers:

  • Feather 25 (Needs Solar Blast attack to be unlocked)
    • After the first checkpoint and after the row of Conveyor Belts that have a row of spikes above them, the player will reach an area with Time Bombs. Jump onto the “flying pillow”, move up to the higher platform, and move left to find the Dream Feather behind a gate. Jump up and use a Solar Blast attack to hit the switch above to open the gate.
  • Feather 26 (Needs Luna Frost attack to be unlocked)
    • After the second checkpoint, and after a row of Conveyor Belts, the player will reach an area with two flaming Hungry Bones. Using Luna Frost, freeze the second Hungry Bone into a platform (you must extinguish his fire shield with Luna Frost first) and take the upper path where the opening and closing gate is. Move left, freeze the Viral Cocoon into a platform and continue jumping left till you find the Dream Feather.
  • Feather 27
    • After the third checkpoint, and after the moving spikes, the player will encounter a single Viral Egg moving up and down. Use Luna Frost to freeze it into a platform, and then use this platform to jump onto the higher platform above it. Here, the player will find three Missile Launchers. Using the Slow Watch spell and Luna Frost attack, freeze the missiles into platforms and use them to reach the higher platform above where the Dream Feather is.

Music Records:

  • Music Record Track 16 – Come closer so I can Devour You
    • You will need the Aegis Shield spell to be unlocked first. When the level starts, and after the player moves up to the area where the Conveyer Belts and Biscuit Dragon are, activate your Aegis Shield spell to be able to jump onto the Biscuit Dragon. From there, jump onto the spikes on the right and then jump again to reach the hidden upper path where you will find the Music Record.
  • Music Record Track 11 – Ghoulish Tomato Soup
    • In the area where the second checkpoint is (just after a gate that opens and closes), while standing on the “flying pillow”, do a reverse double-jump to jump through the gap onto the higher platform. Move left of the gap to find the Music Record.

Level strategy:

You will need to practice your falling double-jumps to pass this level. At the end of the level, it will be easier if you have the Slow Watch spell activated.

(Gold Time: 7 min 00 sec and below)

Stage 3: A Witch’s Feast >> Witch Chef (Boss Act)

Dream feathers:

  • None

Music Records:

  • None

Level strategy:

Hit the Boss with Luna Frost attacks to remove her fire shield first, and then shoot her when her dress is still black to do damage. Be careful of the platforms that will burn when in contact with fire. You can use your Luna Frost attack to remove the fire. To defeat the Boss quickly, use your Slow Watch spell.

How to avoid its attacks:

Fire Launchers: Use jumping or Luna Frost attacks to avoid the fireballs.

Fire Burst: The Boss will emit fireballs in 8 directions. Use jumping or Luna Frost attacks to avoid the fireballs.

Fire Re-spark: Right after the Boss gains back her fire shield, she will emit explosions in 8 directions. Use jumping to avoid the explosions.

Fire Drop: The Boss will move from left to right near the top of the level while dropping fireballs downwards. Use jumping or Luna Frost attacks to avoid the fireballs.

(Gold Time: 3 min 30 sec and below)

(Solar Blast Attack unlocked!)

Stage 4: Infinite Palace >> Universal Library (Act 1)

Dream feathers:

  • Feather 28 (Needs Aegis Shield Spell to be unlocked)
    • When the level starts, after you pass the gate using a Solar Blast attack and defeat the Puppet Rats, move down the stairs and take the bottom path until you reach a Soggy Rat. Next to it, you will see a “flying pillow” that is moving downwards. Jump onto it, move down, and then jump left onto the bottom platform. Activate your Aegis Shield spell and move left while jumping on the spikes until you find the Dream Feather. Return right through the same path before your shield spell is over.
  • Feather 29
    • Just before the third checkpoint, the player will encounter platforms in an X-shaped formation. Carefully drop through the gap that has the spikes on the wall till you see a group of two Missile Launchers shooting Straight Missiles upwards. Using your Luna Frost attacks, freeze the Missiles into platforms in order to reach the Dream Feather.
  • Feather 30 (Needs Solar Blast attack to be unlocked)
    • After the fourth checkpoint and near the end of the level, there is a bottom path that can be accessed if you use a Solar Blast attack to hit a switch. Follow that path towards the right while using Solar Blast attacks to open/close gates. You will find the Dream Feather at the end of the path.

Music Records:

  • Music Record Track 12 – Space Scramble Tap
    • After the second checkpoint, after moving up on a “flying pillow”, and before you encounter the Biscuit Dragon, you will see the Music Record hidden below on a lower platform. Use double-jump to reach there.

Level strategy:

Be careful of the Huffy Wolfs. (They appear out of thin air and attack you with a slash.) Use all your spells and attacks at the appropriate areas. If you see Spike-Balls, use your Luna Frost attacks to freeze them into platforms. In the area with the opening and closing gates, use your Slow Watch spell and move carefully between the gates.

(Gold Time: 8 min 00 sec and below)

Stage 4: Infinite Palace >> Imagination Tower (Act 2)

Dream feathers:

  • Feather 31
    • After the first checkpoint and after climbing up a wall using frozen Straight Missiles as platforms, use the same Straight Missiles to jump left where you will find the Dream Feather.
  • Feather 32
    • After the second checkpoint and after the row of opening and closing gates, the player will encounter a group of Soggy Rats. Freeze the first Soggy Rat and use it as a platform to jump onto a block on the left. Continue to jump across the blocks (using a mixture of falling double-jumps and reverse double-jumps) to reach the Dream Feather.
  • Feather 33 (Needs Aegis Shield Spell to be unlocked)
    • After the fifth checkpoint and after the Disappearing Platforms, the player will reach an area with a Puffy Wolf and a Grim-Box. Activate your Aegis Shield spell, walk on the path of fire which the Grim-Box will emit and jump left to reach the Dream Feather.

Music Records:

  • Music Record Track 13 – Step Up or Shut Down
    • After the fourth checkpoint and after moving up on the “flying pillows”, the player will need to drop into a gap. Instead of double-jumping onto the first path you see, drop further till you see a second bottom path and then double-jump here. Follow this path, hit the switch by jumping and using a Solar Blast attack with a Range Cannon spell, and continue right until you find the Music Record.

Level strategy:

You will have to be very skilled at falling double-jumps and reverse double-jumps for this level. Use all your spells and attacks at the appropriate areas. If you see Spike-Balls, use your Luna Frost attacks to freeze them into platforms. In the area with the opening and closing gates, use your Slow Watch spell and move carefully between the gates.

When you are in the area where a Sheep will warn you to use your Solar Blast attacks carefully, you will need to plan your actions. First, activate your Range Cannon spell. Next, jump and use a Solar Blast to hit the switch. Next, fall towards the left so that you will land back onto a platform. (At this point, the gate below you will be gone.) Finally, double-jump to reach the platform on the right.

Also be careful of the Puffy Wolfs. (They appear out of thin air and attack you with a lightning blast. Stay out of range if possible.)

(Gold Time: 8 min 30 sec and below)

(Aegis Shield Spell unlocked!)

Stage 4: Infinite Palace >> Dream Cathedral (Act 3)

Dream feathers:

  • Feather 34
    • Just before the first checkpoint and after the gap with the Time Bombs, you will need to take the bottom path. Take the bottom path and move right until you see a switch. (There is a gap further right.) Freeze the switch at the correct moment (when the switch is in color) so that the opening/closing gate that blocks the gap stops moving. While standing on this gate, use a Solar Blast attack to hit another switch. (Make sure your Range Cannon spell is activated.) The gate above the player will now be opened. Follow the path right until you obtain the Dream Feather. Use a Solar Blast attack to hit the same switch to open the next gate.
  • Feather 35
    • After the first checkpoint and after a row of Missile Launchers, instead of taking the usual upper path, jump into the gap to the right of the Missile Launchers and then double-jump to reach a platform. Move right and you will see two Spike-balls. Freeze the first Spike-ball first so that the two Spike-balls will move in different directions. Wait for the first Spike-ball to unfreeze, then carefully aim and freeze the second Spike-ball. Freeze the first Spike-ball again and you will have two frozen platform blocks to jump on. (Make sure there is enough space for you to jump onto the blocks.) Continue to move right using these platforms. Next, you will see a moving spike and another Spike-ball. Freeze the Spike-ball when the moving spike is down and quickly jump onto this frozen platform. Wait for the next moving spike to be down before jumping right safely. Hit the switch to the right, jump up to the higher platform and continue moving right until you find the Dream Feather.
  • Feather 36
    • Just before the fifth checkpoint, the player will encounter an area with many Spinning Blades. There are also blocks positioned above them here. Jump across the blocks (using a mixture of falling double-jumps, reverse double-jumps, high double-jumps and long double-jumps) to reach the Dream Feather.

Music Records:

  • Music Record Track 14 – Whisper a Twilight Prayer
    • Just before the third checkpoint, there is an area with a Puffy Wolf. Activate your Aegis Shield spell, jump onto the Puffy Wolf when it appears and double-jump to reach the Music Record.
  • Music Record Track 17 – The End Shall be Rewritten
    • At the fifth checkpoint, if you double jump upwards, you will see the Music Record. To get there, you must reach the end of the level. But instead of moving left after the final gate to reach the finishing point, jump and move right. Activate your Aegis Shield spell, jump onto the spikes and the platforms with the spikes on the right to reach the Music Record.

Level strategy:

The player must take note of a few areas:

The row of three Missile Launchers>>

In order to climb up this wall easily, activate your Slow Watch spell and use your Luna Frost attacks at the right moment.

The three switches after the Disappearing Platforms>>

Make sure your Range Cannon spell is “off”. Using Solar Blast attacks, hit the first switch only first, and then hit the first two switches together. This will open up the gates properly to let you through.

After the third checkpoint, area with the two Spike-balls and Fire Launchers>>

Freeze the first Spike-ball to cross the first gap. Freeze the second Spike-ball when it is about your character’s chest-level so that you can make the double-jump onto it, as well as the next double-jump to reach the higher platform. It is easier if you have the Slow Watch spell activated.

After the fourth checkpoint>>

The best way to tackle this area of Conveyor Belts and drop pits is to activate your Aegis Shield spell.

After the fifth checkpoint>>

First, form a word that is at least 5 letters long and has at least a green power. Freeze the first switch so that the gate is open. Next move as right as possible and use a Solar Blast to open the next gate. Next use another Solar Blast to open the next gate.

For the last area, the best way to tackle this is to activate your Aegis Shield spell. Freeze the second downward-moving Straight Missile (it falls onto the row of Time Bombs) at a height tall enough for you to jump on. From here, shoot the switch to open the final gate and freeze it quickly without hitting the Viral Egg. Finally, freeze the Viral Egg so that you can use it as a platform to jump onto the upper platform that leads to the finishing point.

Stage 4: Infinite Palace >> The Big Bad (Boss Act)

Dream feathers:

  • None

Music Records:

  • None

Level strategy:

Hit the Boss with Luna Frost attacks to remove his shield first, and then shoot him when he is stunned to deal damage. You can also hit him when he is recharging his shield. To hit the Boss while he is in the air, freeze the Spike-balls into platforms to reach him. To defeat the Boss quickly, use all your spells and attacks at maximum power.

How to avoid its attacks:

Black-hole: This attack will pull you towards the Boss. At least activate Speed Boots to run away from the black-hole.

Billiard Ball: The Boss will emit energy spheres from his hat that will move towards your position in a straight line. You can either avoid them, or use your Aegis Shield spell to reflect the energy spheres back at the Boss to remove his shield.

Target (Boss is in the air): Avoid the explosions that occur after the target locks on to you by running and jumping away. If you are hit, quickly use a Health Cure spell to cure your ailment.

Ground Spikes (Boss is in the air): The Boss will cause spikes to come out of the ground. Time your jumps to avoid them.

Spinning Blades (Boss is in the air): The Boss will cause spinning blades to come out of the ground. Use your Solar Blast attack to destroy them.

Healing: Stun the Boss (by removing his shield using Luna Frost attacks) before he gets the time to heal his health. Occurs whenever his health falls below 80%, 50% and 10%.

(Gold Time: 4 min 00 sec and below)

(Finish all the Trials to unlock the final stage.)

Final Stage: The End Story of i >> The Final Bad (Boss Act)

Dream feathers:

  • None

Music Records:

  • None

Level strategy:

You will need to form a word every 15 sec, otherwise when the Boss is covered in black shadow he will begin to heal steadily. Always aim for the Eye that pops out from his mouth. Shooting his hands will not do any effect. To defeat the Boss quickly, use your all your spells at the correct moments and use Luna Frost on the Eye to deal more damage.

How to avoid its attacks:

Single/Double Hand Smash: The Boss will smash his hands either on the right, left or both sides of the stage. Jump over the Energy Waves that follow, jump onto the hand and let it lift you up so that you can shoot the Eye. You can also hit the Eye if you use Solar Blasts attacks on the ground. You will instantly die if you get crushed by the hands.

Laser Explosions: The Boss will emit laser beams that move from left to right to left to right to left to right. You will not get hit by the laser beams themselves, but you can get hit by the explosions that may curse you with various ailments. Time you jumps to avoid the explosions. The Eye is not exposed for you to hit.

Laser Pillar: The Boss will emit pillars of lasers that move from the center towards the edge of the stage. Move to either the left or right edge of the stage and do a reverse double-jump at the correct moment to avoid the pillars. The Eye is not exposed for you to hit.

Energy Ball: The Boss will emit an Energy Ball that moves towards your position. You can freeze the Ball using a Luna Frost attack, and use it as a platform to hit the Eye. Or you can activate your Aegis Shield and reflect the Energy Ball back at the Eye to deal damage.

Black-hole: This attack will pull you towards the Boss who will be located either at the left or right side of the stage. At least activate Speed Boots to run away from the black-hole.

Hyper Beam: The Boss will emit a “one-hit kill” laser beam that covers the entire stage right after the Black-hole attack. The player will first see a warning beam (a thin laser beam that cannot hurt you) followed by a huge beam of energy. You can either time your double-jump nicely (difficult), activate your Aegis Shield (simple but takes time), or purposely get an Error Penalty to avoid the attack (easiest, but will take personal damage).

(Gold Time: 4 min 00 sec and below)

Trials/Challenges:

Be Brave. Take the Plunge!

Level strategy:

Perform your jumps carefully and at the correct moments. The “flying pillows” will guide you to where you must go. At the part where you must hit the first switch, stand at the leftmost edge of the flying pillow (the character will look like she is floating on air) and shoot repeatedly when the flying pillow is at the extreme left. At the last part where you must jump down into the gap, do a double-jump first to reach the platform with the second switch. Hit the switch, jump down again to reach the checkpoint on the left.

I Need a Hero!

Level strategy:

Just shoot all the enemies as you move from left to right. You will not have time to backtrack, so make sure you hit all of them as you move along.

All for One or None for All

Level strategy:

Be patient and wait for the Disappearing Platforms to appear first before jumping. There will be areas where you must make double-jumps of maximum height or distance, so time your jumps properly. (e.g. area A)

Best route:

Go with the Flow …

Level strategy:

Do not kill any enemies. Avoid them in any way you can. When hitting the switches, time your attacks properly to avoid hitting the enemies. At the beginning of the level, you may need to wait a while before the Viral Eggs are in the correct position for you to jump over them.

Stuck in Limbo

Level strategy:

To reach the higher platforms, you may need to jump on top of a switch first. Hit the switches in this sequence: 1, 2, 3, 4, 10, 14, 5, (while in room 4 shoot and hit 3), 8, 7, 6, 12, 18, 17, 18, 15, 8, 16, 22, 19, (while in room 20 shoot and hit 19), and enter 25 for the checkpoint.

Grab as many Time Stones as possible to keep the timer from reaching zero. Do not take too long to form words or else the timer will run out.

This Haze is killing me!

Level strategy:

Grab as many Earth Stones as possible to keep your health from reaching zero. Do not take too long to form words or else your health will run out. There will be areas where you must make double-jumps of maximum height or distance, so time your jumps properly. To make it to the end, you may need to take at least one “more difficult” route near the end to grab more Earth Stones.

Just … a bit … further …

Level strategy:

Use your Range Cannon spell to be able to hit the enemies or switches. At the area with the moving spikes, when the spikes are about to go down, quickly jump and shoot a Star Bolt to hit the switch before the spikes come back up again.

Gone with the Wind!

Level strategy:

When the level first starts, form a 4-letter word to activate your Range Cannon spell. Use your Range Cannon spell to be able to hit switches at a distance without walking close to them in order to save time. Grab as many Time Stones as possible to keep the timer from reaching zero. Do not take too long to form words or else the timer will run out. At the area with the Spit Parasites and Hiss Parasites (plant-like enemies that shoot seeds at you), try to avoid the seeds or else your health may run out. Hide on the correct blocks to avoid the seeds, and then quickly jump over the Spit or Hiss Parasites while grabbing the Time Stones. (Take note you only need to grab at least 70% of the Time Stones here.) When you reach near the end of the level, jump through the encircling Viral Eggs and Viral Cocoons to avoid wasting time killing them.

Prepare for Aerial Combat!

Level strategy:

Just shoot all the enemies as you move up the various platforms. You will not have time to backtrack, so make sure you hit all of them as you move along. Be careful not to get hit by any enemy.

A Whiff of Panic

Level strategy:

Just shoot any Spring Flea or Bounce Flea that you see. Form words that is as “high-scoring” as possible so that you can defeat each of the Fleas with one shot. Trick: Hold down the Page World button as long as possible to waste more time.

Gas Training is Serious Business

Be a Sweetie my dear

Level strategy:

When the level first starts, you will see 4 Sun Stones on the left hidden behind a few gates. In order to open the gates, the player must hit a switch that is concealed in a room behind a biscuit wall. With the Range Cannon spell activated, the player must jump, aim and shoot carefully between the gaps unblocked by the biscuit wall in order to hit the switch. There will also be switches that the player must hit and then freeze in order to keep the gates open. If you get hit by any of the missiles, activate your Health Cure spell in order to heal your ailment.

Follow the Bread Crumbs

Level strategy:

When the level first starts, you will see a switch. However, you have no attacks to hit it with. So move right until you see a Missile Launcher emitting Trace Missiles. You will also see that the Trace Missiles can hit the switch for you. Lure the Trace Missile towards the left where the first switch is while avoiding various obstacles that will cause the Trace Missile to explode.

Can’t catch the Gingerbread Man

Level strategy:

You will need to use Luna Frost attacks of at least green power to win this level. Freeze the Straight Missiles into platforms to jump towards the right. Be careful of the Conveyer Belts that will push you towards the drop pits. If you are low on health, activate your Health Cure spell to recover first. At the last area of the level where three Missile Launchers are emitting Straight Missiles downwards on a row of Conveyor Belts, freeze the last two Straight Missiles at a height that you can just nicely jump on in order to jump towards the higher platform where the checkpoint is.

Time to get your Just Desserts!

Level strategy:

When the level first starts, form a 5-letter word to activate your Health Cure spell. You will need your Health Cure spell to remain activated throughout the level in order to win. Just shoot all the enemies as you move across the various platforms. You will not have time to backtrack, so make sure you hit all of them as you move along. Be careful not to get hit by any enemy.

Can you take the Heat?

Level strategy:

When the level first starts, form a 6-letter word to activate your Slow Watch spell. It will be easier if you keep your Slow Watch spell activated throughout the time limit in order to win. Be prepared to move and jump quickly to avoid the Missiles. You can also shoot down the Missiles using Star Bolts, and destroy the fireballs using Luna Frosts. Trick: Hold down the Page World button as long as possible to waste more time.

Wax on & Wax off

Level strategy:

When the level first starts, form a 6-letter word to activate your Slow Watch spell. You will need your Slow Watch spell to remain activated throughout the level in order to win. Be prepared to move and jump on as well as off the Time Bombs quickly. In the last area, you will need to hit the switch at the end first, backtrack to hit the bottom switch, and then return back to the end before the Time Bombs explode.

Got to Catch them All!

Level strategy:

You will need your Slow Watch spell to be activated as much as possible throughout the level in order to win. Be prepared to move and jump quickly to avoid obstacles. Here are the best areas to activate your Slow Watch spell: A, B, C, D, and E. When doing route D, it is best to rest at point ”d” and wait for the moving spike to move up and down before progressing.

Let the Sparks Fly

Level strategy:

Use your Solar Blast attacks to hit the switches. In the last area, jump and use your Solar Blast attack.

Light at the End of the Tunnel

Level strategy:

When the level first starts, move left to collect the first Time Stone. Next, form at least a 5-letter word before moving through the level. You will need to keep your Health Cure spell activated to survive the collisions with the Puffy Wolfs. And you will need enough Solar Blast attacks to hit all the switches. Grab as many Time Stones as possible to keep the timer from reaching zero. Do not take too long to form words or else the timer will run out. And do not bother destroying the Puffy Wolfs.

Don’t Lose Sight of your Goal

Level strategy:

When the level first starts, form at least a 4-letter word with a power of at most Cyan. Move left, freeze the first two Viral Cocoons into platforms and use a Solar Blast attack to hit the first switch. Due to the low damage of your attack, the third Viral Cocoon will only be hurt but not be destroyed. Next, activate your Slow Watch spell when the Spinning Blades are high enough for you to squeeze through. Move to point A and wait for the next row of Spinning Blades to be high enough before jumping onto the upper platform and squeezing through. You have to control your double-jump here or else you will jump too high and hit the Blades. For the next area with the Stone Hands, freeze the Hands into platforms before they begin to shoot at you. It will be easier if your Slow Watch spell is still activated at point B. Next, make sure your Slow Watch spell is activated at point C, jump between the Spinning Blades and jump over the Huffy Wolfs that will charge forward when you are on the platform. For the last area D, you must have only your Speed Boots spell activated (your Range Cannon spell must be off) and some Luna Frost and Solar Blast attacks of at least Green power. First, you freeze the first Viral Cocoon when it is near the ground. Next, you freeze the second Viral Cocoon when it is above the Spinning Blades. Jump onto the second Viral Cocoon. Double-jump and use a Solar Blast attack to hit the switch above without hitting the Spinning Blades. Finally, you need to double-jump over the last Viral Cocoon to reach the checkpoint.

Free your Mind

Level strategy:

When the level first starts, quickly try to form a 7-letter word or try to trigger the special word bonus (but do not activate the Aegis Shield yet). Be careful not to get hit by the explosion from the Time Bomb. When you have fallen on the lower platform, hold down the Page World button for as long as possible before the Stone Hands start to shoot at you in order to waste time. Once they start shooting, activate your Aegis Shield spell to avoid the attacks. Quickly form another 7-letter word or try to trigger another special word bonus. Hold down the Page World button for as long as possible before the Stone Hands start to shoot at you in order to waste time. Once they start shooting, activate your Aegis Shield spell to avoid the attacks. Repeat this until the time limit is up.

See but don’t Touch?

Level strategy:

You will need your Aegis Shield spell to be activated as much as possible throughout the level in order to win. Remember to hit the light switch if you cannot see in the dark.
