Paper Beast Enhanced Edition Review Pros:
- Gorgeous graphics.
- 3.99GB download size.
- Platinum trophy.
- Adventure gameplay.
- PlayStation VR 2 support.
- Opening calibrations for audio.
- The opening is a faux PC operating system complete with the ui, questions, and music.
- First-person view.
- Tutorial-like prompts pop up as you play.
- You can invert the axis.
- A game with no words, and it is all interpretative.
- You walk around and grab items and swing/throw them around.
- Slight puzzle moments throughout.
- The game is you basically helping these paper beasts get through the world.
- Fantastic looking creatures.
- Full physics system at play.
- Clear paths by draining water or moving sand.
- The sand will leave footprints.
- A fascinating world to explore. It’s a living world, and you can just hang back and watch life unfold.
Paper Beast Enhanced Edition Review Cons:
- If you don’t investigate and poke around the faux operating system, you will be stuck there for a while.
- The game loses a lot of its wow factor outside of VR.
- Cannot rebind controls.
- Invisible walls.
- No help with what needs to be done.
- It’s very much a case of trying to see what works.
