- Anti-cheat – Battle eye software.
- Full controller support.
- Graphics settings – resolution, window mode, render scale, v-sync, HDR, dynamic resolution, smooth fps, anti-aliasing, shadows, effects, textures, view distance, and foliage.
- Controller settings – Invert axis and sensitivity sliders and remap controls.
- Keyboard settings – Invert axis and sensitivity sliders for the mouse and remap controls on the keyboard.
- Full mode support complete with mod browser.
- Three ways to play – multiplayer, single-player, and community servers.
- Two base maps – Panjura, and Gondwa.
- Single-player setup lets you choose game mode map, and settings like health, exp earn rate, fall damage, enemy damage, etc.
- Possible to just host your own private game.
- The dinosaurs you play as can be customized from male/female color, and different species which also affect stats, and name them.
- Decent loading times.
- Tutorial pop-ups and mission markers. (optional)
- Hunger and thirst meters are at play.
- Vocal radial menu to interact and attract other players.
- The multiplayer is just matchmaking after picking a map.
- You can have multiple characters saved.
- Good looking locations.
- Depending on your dinosaur choice you can rest up to get stamina, sneak, or enable fast turning.
- For main and side missions, you get a full tracker so you can add missions to your sidebar and add map markers.
- The growth bar shows how far you have grown and each time you hit a milestone you can unlock and improve abilities and buffs.
- Changing skin in the game will cause your old skin to shed over time.
- Ability Hotbar to add new attacks and actions.
- In the game world, you can bring up the social menu to see/interact/mute all players or set up parties.
- You can have some really good memorable interactions and experiences.
- Has a high level of tension throughout.
Path Of Titans Review Cons:
- The Battle Eye software asks for a lot of access.
- You do need to set up an Alderon Games account.
- The game does t show up clearly in your file directory.
- So much to take in.
- The tutorial pop-ups are intrusive.
- You have to be precise with eating and drinking in terms of location when attempting it.
- Had the game shit the bed when accidentally pressing a keyboard button when using the controller.
- Performance issues throughout and it’s usually slowdown.
- Had to log out many times due to lockups or buttons not being recognized.
- Missions won’t always acknowledge completion.
- Feeding and drinking are all so slow and cumbersome.
- Small text in the quests and missions tabs.
- It’s quite a slow pace game from movement to the general game progression.
- You can go a very long time without seeing anyone.
- Menus all require one too many button presses.
