Pieces Interactive announces their new title Kill to Collect

As the latest title in their portfolio, Paradox Interactive’s Magicka 2, is about to go live on May 26th, Pieces Interactive proudly announces its new and fully self funded title – Kill to Collect.

An action dungeon brawler with roguelike elements set in a Cyberpunk universe, Kill to Collect invites players to experience life as a bounty hunter seeking and executing targets in the deeper levels of Geoshelter Alpha.

Inspired by titles like Spelunky and The Binding of Isaac in combination with the visual style of 80s Mangas like Appleseed and Ghost in the Shell, Kill to Collect has a strong focus on co-op and on game skill. Every encounter is challenging, but brute force will never be enough to complete a bounty. Instead, the gameplay is focused on tactic and strategy, which can only be improved by understanding the targets and the dangers encountered to reach them.

Kill to Collect will be available on Steam as well as on major consoles. While the development is funded by Pieces Interactive, the company has yet to set a release date and is still seeking partners for marketing and distribution.

Gaming since the Atari 2600, I enjoy the weirdness in games counting Densha De Go and RC De Go as my favourite titles of all time. I prefer gaming of old where buying games from a shop was a thing, Being social in person was a thing. Join me as I attempt to adapt to this new digital age!
