Our Pocky And Rocky Reshrined Review have us revisit the legendary adventures of Pocky and Rocky – also known to some by the original Japanese name Kiki Kaikai – the player controls the young shrine maiden Pocky and her raccoon companion, Rocky, on their adventures. The shooting game series, with roots going back to the original Taito-released ‘80s arcade game, has delighted many generations of gamers. Now, the brand-new Pocky & Rocky Reshrined developed under license from TAITO Corporation, finally brings the iconic duo back.

  • Decent graphics.
  • 510.2MB download size.
  • 18 Trophies.
  • Can be played on PlayStation 5.
  • Graphics settings – aspect ratio percentage slider, aspect scale percentage slider, and scan line effects.
  • Shooter gameplay.
  • Can rebind controls for both player 1 and player 2 individually.
  • Game stats show total coins, total playtime, and the best high score.
  • Online rankings support.
  • Two game modes – story and free mode.
  • The free mode has to be unlocked by either finishing story mode or by collecting 10,000 coins.
  • 3 difficulties – extra easy, normal and hard.
  • Actions – you have projectiles, a slide button, a special move and deflect to send projectiles back at the enemy.
  • Mid and end-of-level boss fights.
  • Coins and power-ups drop from enemies and crates.
  • 3 hits then you die, 3 lives then you start the level again.
