PUSS! Review (PlayStation 4)

For this PUSS! Review, we play as a cat that is trapped in another dimension. Find the way out or stay there forever!

PUSS! Review Pros:

  • Decent graphics.
  • 1.67GB download size.
  • Platinum trophy.
  • Game settings – vibration, music, fx, sensitivity slider, HUE slider, b/w slider, and dim colors.
  • Online leaderboards.
  • 39 different cat avatars to play as.
  • Dodge ’em up gameplay.
  • The goal of the game is to make it from the start to the finish box but the gimmick is you are against a timer and you can only be hot so many times before you restart. Hitting any walls is a hit.
  • You can change your avatar and game settings at any time from the pause menu.
  • The pause menu shows game time, settings, and score.
  • This has to be the craziest-looking game I have ever played with all these psychedelic visuals and flashes, etc.

PUSS! Review Cons:

  • The game just begins, no tutorial nothing.
  • Cannot flat-out turn off some of the visual effects.
  • Can be hard to make out who or where you are.
  • Little replay value.

Gaming since the Atari 2600, I enjoy the weirdness in games counting Densha De Go and RC De Go as my favourite titles of all time. I prefer gaming of old where buying games from a shop was a thing, Being social in person was a thing. Join me as I attempt to adapt to this new digital age!
