Power-ups and coins can be dropped from enemies, which can be used in the upgrade menu to enhance health, weapon, damage, laser, wingman, coin bonus, and start at stage 5. The game includes end-of-level boss fights and is very easy to get into. It’s replayable as you need to level up and play through again. The game world scrolls with animated backdrops and fantastic-looking locations. The border art also serves as your HUD showing your ultimate charge meter, health, and shields. However, the tutorial is slow and not really needed in how they’ve done it. The game is difficult with no way to change or customize your shop in terms of appearance or rebind controls. Boss battles are massive bullet sponges and it gets a bit of a grind for the coins and upgrades. The music is just one track over and over. Overall though this is a strong casual shmup action game.

Gaming since the Atari 2600, I enjoy the weirdness in games counting Densha De Go and RC De Go as my favourite titles of all time. I prefer gaming of old where buying games from a shop was a thing, Being social in person was a thing. Join me as I attempt to adapt to this new digital age!
