Review: SENRAN KAGURA Peach Beach Splash (PlayStation 4)

• Three main modes of play- Solo, Multiplayer and training.
• Solo- Story, Paradise episodes and V-road challenge.
• Multiplayer- Ranked, Free match and co-op survival.
• Gameplay- Water based 3rd person shooter.
• Shop- Spen cash earned, You can change out the shop assistant which in turns changes things up.
• Story- Four Shinobi groups each with 10 missions within each.
• Three difficulties- Easy, Normal and hard.
• Dressing room/Shower- Dress up, Intimacy, Diorama and change character.  Here you can really get to know your girls by grabbing at them and slapping if need be.
• Training- Tutorial 1-5 areas covering different aspects and a firing range option.
• Fast 60fps action.
• Skill cards- Act like powerups. You make a hand then once you have built up enough “water damage” You can then cast them. They can range from giving health to firing homing shots. You can upgrade the cards to become more powerful and swap them out at will and with so many card types.
• Level up characters using spare skill cards to improve stats. You can also upgrade cards to improve them.
• Weapons range from pistols to rifles to rocket launchers.
• Full stats screen with progress tracker.
• Library- Watch cutscenes, View cards and listen to music.
• Eight stages to fight across each one is varied and ranges from concerts to hot houses etc.
• Private games possible.
• Online rank seperate to your offline rank.
• Big boss battles.
• Tips on loading screens.
• Deep rewarding card system.
• Squirmy finish- You approach a downed opponent and get out a rubber duck and go first person and aim the squirt to remove your opponents clothing.
• Addictive with the whole card collecting mechanic.

Cons:

• Changing clothes for your character involves backing in and out of menus.
• Intimacy feels a bit creepy as you can slap and grab at womens…..parts.
• Over the top boob physics.
• Gameplay is repititive.
• Camera can really go all over the place and mess up.
• AI does most of the work.
• Loading screens are very frequent.
• Always feel like you dont know what your doing or what your goal is.
• Hit notification is a bit too meek.
• Slowdown when it all kicks off.
• Controls are a bit fiddly.
• Matches are over very quickly.
