Robin Hood – Sherwood Builders Preview Cons:
- The controller when in menus has the right stick used like a mouse which is not always ideal.
- No benchmark test for the graphics.
- The game can look blurry in a lot of places.
- Tutorial pop-ups are usually always a seperate thing meaning you have to come out of the action and read them then go back.
- The compass is not easy to read and doesn’t help with navigation or distance.
- Cannot save when you want.
- I accidentally clicked no more tutorials and the menu option was greyed out so I could never turn them back on.
- The performance is a bit up and down especially in built-up areas or in large combat sequences.
- It can be really hard to make things out or see too far ahead no matter the graphics setting.
- On the controller, at least the aiming and general bow use is very loose and unwieldy.
- Doesn’t offer any Colourblind options which can make finding loot and drops quite hard.
- Even with the radial dial, it’s still a pain to manually swap between tools and weapons.
- The skill tree is massive, so much to look at plus you have to manually click apply on the far side whereas most games now have it where you can click apply when selecting another menu.
- The camp is huge and a real pain to traverse as you try and stock up the many boxes with resources.
- Some cheese line delivery and writing.
- No option for the first person.
- It feels like a collection of great RPG mechanics in one but has little identity.
- Had a few updates where it downloads the full game again.
