Skype On Vita Finally Allows Cross App Chat

When Skype first launched on the Vita, Gamer’s found it kind of redundant. I mean whats the point in being able to chat with friends on a gaming device, If you cannot carry on playing games? Well today is your day! As of today the new update for Skype allows you to finally be in a call with friends, And game at the same time! It was such a simple request that grew into a necessity for use. Funny thing is, A lot of people will use this more than Sony’s own in game party chat option. The only downside I experienced with my brief time on it, Is the in game music doesn’t lower or get muted so you will have both coming through the headset. Hopefully its a case of me missing an option.
