Summary

Spacewing War started off really cool, I like the Cutesy graphics along with the basic yet engaging shooting. Once I put the Gameboy green screen on it all clicked and I was having a lot of fun. By the fifth or sixth level however it started to test my patience, I knew I had to do it all in one sitting to unlock anything in the game, the level designs getting cheap with tight gaps etc really started testing my patience. Once I finished the story I got a few unlocks but even then it felt underwhelming mostly because all the levels are so short, they all started to feel and play the same. I would say if you can get through the repetitive nature of it all, then it is a cool little game but it is definitely a one trick.

Gaming since the Atari 2600, I enjoy the weirdness in games counting Densha De Go and RC De Go as my favourite titles of all time. I prefer gaming of old where buying games from a shop was a thing, Being social in person was a thing. Join me as I attempt to adapt to this new digital age!
