Steampunk mech combat ‘Ironcast’ DLC out now on Steam

The Lords and Ladies of indie developers Dreadbit and publisher Ripstone have today released new DLC for steampunk mech combat title; Ironcast. Available today on Steam, the DLC features two new packs: The Stirling Pack & Windsor Pack, each pack includes a Commander with their own signature augmentation and an Ironcast.

The Stirling Pack includes a brand new Ironcast named ‘The Stirling’; as well as a new Commander. The Stirling utilises a magnetic limpet cannon to blast an enemy target with electrical energy. Commander Katherine Chapman’s signature augmentation has a chance to reward players who match long chains of nodes with additional resources of every type. In addition, she has double the chance to locate rare blueprints on fallen enemies.
The Windsor Pack includes ‘The Windsor’ Ironcast which uses a unique device to steal a layer of shield defences from its opponent, weakening them whilst improving its own defences. It also includes a new Commander Henry Brent whose signature augmentation rewards players who match long chains of nodes with a temporary shield boost. In addition, his Ironcast always begins the game with an active shield layer.
New Consortium Commanders can watch the launch trailer here: and for those without a moment to lose, the full game is available to download now on Steam, and the DLC is available at £2.99 / €3.99 / $3.99. Ironcast will also be gracing PlayStation®4 & Xbox One in early 2016.
