Succubus With Guns Review (PlayStation 5)

Join our Succubus With Guns Review, as we play as a demoness called by lay occultists. During the summoning ritual, they made a mistake and raised the dead, while turning themselves into zombies.
Now you have to return home by jumping to other worlds through portals, all while making your way through the hordes of the undead.

  • Hearts refill your health.
  • Swap weapons quickly.
  • Dodge roll button.
  • Six levels to get through.

Succubus With Guns Review Cons:

  • The camera is unstable.
  • Shooting is really loose and cumbersome.
  • Enemies all look the same and don’t do a lot.
  • Boss fights are just bullet sponges.
  • The reload is slow.
  • Every level is the same deal.
  • Cannot see how many enemies are in a wave.
  • The level won’t finish unless everyone is killed.
  • I had it where I couldn’t finish a level until I killed one guy that was right back at the start of the level on another level!
  • Had a level that was using just the sword yet it gave me ammo for guns I couldn’t use!
  • The hit detection is a joke.

Summary

I’m not really sure what to write here. I mean Succubus with guns is meant to be a wave-based 3rd person shooter but instead, it’s a glitch, loose, scantily clad mash of women and fat IT support workers trying to kill you, even that isn’t clear I mean it looks like they just want to be in you to death. Every wave of a round you get one enemy that sees sense and tries to run out of the game but apart from that it’s just mashy melee and loose unsatisfying gunplay. The camera frequently goes off on its own but somehow always manages to find your character’s bum. It’s just not a fun game and honestly, I would even say to play it for the easy Platinum because yeah it’s easy but it’s not fun and it is a grind. Succubus with guns? No thanks.

Gaming since the Atari 2600, I enjoy the weirdness in games counting Densha De Go and RC De Go as my favourite titles of all time. I prefer gaming of old where buying games from a shop was a thing, Being social in person was a thing. Join me as I attempt to adapt to this new digital age!
