Togges Review (PlayStation 5)

For our Togges Review, we play a charming and colorful 3D Puzzle-Platformer. Going on adventures, stacking living blocks, and solving puzzles around the Cosmos to save the Galaxy from the threats of the Void. Huge focus on exploration, with “Eureka!” moments of discovery wide variety of lovely characters and funny stories nRich and vibrant emergent worlds full of creative gameplay mechanics.

  • Controller settings – Invert axis.
  • 3 save slots.
  • Opening tutorial level.
  • Toomba is your character and is room a that can hoover up Togges and then place them as long as another Togge is nearby.
  • Use Togges to navigate the game world.
  • Togges are a fancy name for blocks that are also people.
  • The Togges can only spread by other Togges and have a limit of distance and height.
  • Puzzles/levels have a Togges limit.
  • Seeds once collected increase the target by 5 points and act like a temporary checkpoint.
  • Full 3D camera controls.
  • Unlock and toggle Togges color.
  • Ongoing tutorial video signs.
  • Fruit in a level will act as a checkpoint, progress the game, and erasing fruit will reset the Togges.
  • The levels are huge and you are encouraged to explore and find seeds and fruit.
  • Togges make noises that keep you on your toes.
  • The letters that make up the word Togges are hidden Collectibles.
  • Rubbers/erasers can be hit to wipe out a load of Togges quickly in an area.
  • Togges can die and turn back into wool, collect the wool to resurrect the Togge, and replenish the Togges limit.
  • Hidden mini levels.
  • The layout of the levels is very clever.
  • Gets very addictive.

Togges Review Cons:

  • Huge learning curve.
  • The movement is fast which is fine until you need to be placing Togges.
  • So much to take in.
  • It just feels like you are always out of the know and one step behind.
  • Never sure what and when it saves.
