Decent graphics.
3.45GB download size.
38 trophies.
Controller buttons can be remapped.
Three game modes – career, time trials, and free ride.
Mountain bike racing gameplay.
The game is split into levels with each one having a difficulty, how many crashes are allowed, laps, and points to earn upon completion.
Twenty-four bikes to unlock and use each with unique stats for – weight, suspension, brakes, and handling.
Four driving views including third person behind and handlebar view.
Find and collect silver and Gold cogs within the level.
You can perform wheelies and use energy for a speed boost.
Unlock bikes by collecting cogs.
Controls show up on the screen.
Time Trial has twelve tracks and features online leaderboards.
Free ride lets you play any unlocked track without restrictions.
The timer clearly shows on the screen.
When the game is going along it feels and plays like a mountain bike racer.

Total Trails Review Cons:

No Platinum trophy.
Slow loading times.
Missing a checkpoint doesn’t show up so you can carry on and not realise.
As soon as you touch a mountain or slight elevation the bike struggles and it becomes frustrating.
The handling is not great, especially with the huge turning circles.
The free ride requires you to unlock the levels first.
No customisation options at all.
In career mode the timer is pointless and it’s just a case of finding cogs and hitting checkpoints.
No online multiplayer.
You have to change your view even if you don’t want to as you can’t always see the path.
