Xbox Series X and “Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II” Announced at The Game Awards

Overnight at The Game Awards, Microsoft revealed Xbox Series X, its fastest, most powerful console ever that will set a new bar for performance, speed and compatibility, arriving Holiday 2020 with “Halo Infinite.” Xbox Series X will reshape how developers create and how players experience games. With Xbox Series X, we will elevate the way games look, play and feel.

In addition to revealing the official name of the new console (formerly “Project Scarlett”), Microsoft offered a glimpse at the console’s innovative form factor and revealed the new Xbox Wireless Controller, which will be included with Xbox Series X.

During The Game Awards, Xbox Game Studios also unveiled “Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II,” a sequel to Ninja Theory’s award-winning “Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice,” captured in-engine and being developed to fully leverage the power of Xbox Series X.
