Xeodrifter Launching September 1st on PS4 & Vita

Award-winning indie developers Renegade Kid and publisher Gambitious Digital Entertainment announced today that the 3DS and PC modern classic, Xeodrifter, will be making its way to PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita users on September 1st for £7.99.

Xeodrifter puts players in the role of a galaxy traversing nomad whose ship becomes damaged and stranded in the dark void space. To rebuild his ship and go home, players will discover four sprawling planets, unlocking new abilities along the way to further their means of exploration, upgrade weapons, and become a more formidable threat to the dangerous inhabitants of these strange worlds.

Harnessing a retro Metroid vibe, Xeodrifter blends modern gameplay elements with a style familiar to gamers spanning a generation. Face off with epic bosses, explore distant planets and gain control of easy to use but hard to master weapons as you navigate your way home.

Gaming since the Atari 2600, I enjoy the weirdness in games counting Densha De Go and RC De Go as my favourite titles of all time. I prefer gaming of old where buying games from a shop was a thing, Being social in person was a thing. Join me as I attempt to adapt to this new digital age!
