Ziggurat Interactive Brings Unique Classics Purple Saturn Day and Fields of Glory to Steam

Today, retro-and-modern games publisher Ziggurat Interactive is bringing two fantastic retro titles to gamers via a digital release. Both psychedelic futuristic “sports” game Purple Saturn Day and beloved Napoleonic-era wargame Fields of Glory will be making their debuts on Steam as part of a new series of game releases from the publisher.

Fields of Glory is a real-time strategy title in which players reenact the four major historical conflicts in Napoleon’s Waterloo campaign: the Battles of Ligny, Quatre-Bras, Waterloo, and Wavre, as well play two hypothetical skirmishes. Combat encounters can be fought individually, or as part of a grand Napoleonic campaign.

Purple Saturn Day is a psychedelic take on the future-sports genre, where players compete in multiple interplanetary events. Race around the rings of Saturn, pilot a ship through time and space, solve a moving electronic puzzle, and navigate a futuristic obstacle course in this unique action title.

Ziggurat Interactive has more than 40 Retro Classic titles slated for release this year with new games coming every month. The May releases include Murders In Space and World Championship Boxing Manager.

Gaming since the Atari 2600, I enjoy the weirdness in games counting Densha De Go and RC De Go as my favourite titles of all time. I prefer gaming of old where buying games from a shop was a thing, Being social in person was a thing. Join me as I attempt to adapt to this new digital age!
