Zombietown! Review (PlayStation 4)

For this Zombietown! Review, we play A fun quick-play game for all. We play as the game’s hero, protecting your local neighborhood from the zombie invasion. As you complete each mission you advance to the next mission in that play category. You are free to pick the order you want to play.

  • Five game modes on the map – run for your life, protect the street, collect coins, stay alive, and kill the zombie boss.
  • Play in any order you like.
  • Each time you finish a level you unlock the next stage of that game mode.
  • You can freely move around and up and down in a location.
  • Explosive barrels help take out zombies.
  • OK, soundtrack.
  • Simple easy-to-learn controls.
  • Ammo amd health can be dropped from enemies and crates/toilets/caches.
  • Coins drop from enemies and are used to unlock characters, Weapons amd upgrade them.
  • The difficulty of each game mode goes up as you finish a level.
  • Five characters to unlock each with their own upgrades and unlocks.
  • Easy Platinum trophy.

Zombietown! Review Cons:

  • Cannot rebind controls.
  • Very slow-paced.
  • Grind heavy for unlocks and upgrades.
  • Hot detection can feel a bit off.
  • The gunshot distance is very small.
