• Download size for each game – 15.4GB – Atelier Ryza 2 Lost Legends and the secret fairy DX 18.3GB, and Atelier Ryza 3 Alchemist of the end and the secret Key DX 21.5GB.
• Japanese voice with English subtitles. 
• Graphics settings – local reflections quality, DOF, bloom, light shafts, and rain quality. 
• Audio settings – BGM, sfx, voice, and cutscenes volume. 
• Each game has a load of free DLC packs like starter packs of materials, resources, and clothing options. 
• Camera settings – Invert axis and sensitivity sliders, camera speed, and autocorrect camera. 
• Game settings – rumble, difficulty, dash, map rotation, item auto select, autosave, cursor speed, event autoplay, subtitle size, and toggle icons. 
• Adventure gameplay. 
• Tutorial pop-ups as you play and a help menu to consult and read.

• It is a lot of games, but aside from a few repetitive quests, it is a strong set of games, and each plays the same but in a familiar way. 
• You can play the games in any order if you’re not a big fan of the story and are playing it for the actual gameplay. 
• Combat is turn-based (each character/enemy has a timer), you select attacks and then mash the button to perform attacks. Normal attacks will generate AP that is shared between the party. 
• AP is used to cast abilities and spells. 
• When the enemy attacks, you can time your block to take less damage but also gain AP. 
• Seamless integration between cutscenes and gameplay keeps the immersion going. 
• In combat, you don’t have direct control of each party member, and you just give gentle guidance. 
• Party members can be put in support or aggressive modes. Support is then doing basic attacks, and aggressive is when they use abilities when they get enough AP. 
• The changing room lets you change the appearance of Ryza and other playable characters. 
• Using abilities and spells increases your tactics level, which in turn gives you bonus skill effects in battle. 
• Chain attacks and abilities together, and AP and timing are needed, but once you pull it off, it’s pretty cool! 
• End of combat breakdown showing exp earned and any other rewards. 
• You see enemies wandering around and can hit them first to get an advantage in the combat. 
• Speak with the many people of the world, some will have information or gossip for you, whilst some just ramble on. 
• Full music player and can change what songs play at times, which is a nice touch for veterans. 
• Earn exp and level up to increase your stats. 
• Many colourful creatures and enemies to discover and fight to the death with. 
• Fill in the map by discovering locations. 
• Day and night cycle with different weather conditions can happen, usually story-based, but it can happen. 
• Many Breakable objects to find, get loot from them and get resources and materials from the world. 
• The game worlds are massive! Split up by fast travel like points, as the sense of scope is huge. 
• I never felt like I was being pushed to do something in any of the games, and could pretty much do what I wanted. 
• You do get a lot of visual feedback, like names of items collected popping up, mission markers blinking, it all helps keep you engaged and informed.

• There is a game manual section in the menu, but it just tells you to go to a website; even worse is it doesn’t tell you the address! 
• You cannot remap the controls. 
• Performance is not perfect and does have bits of slowdown and pop-in. 
• Each game starts off slow; it builds and does get better, but huge story dumps and intros slow the initial part down. 
• Interactions with townfolk and general people of the world are just text-based. 
• You have a mission marker, but outside of that, you’re left alone, and early doors it can be off-putting and later on it won’t be precise enough. 
• Combat can get a bit long in the tooth, as some enemies are real damage sponges. 
• At times, you won’t know what an enemy is and what is wildlife. 
• The music is way too happy and upbeat for me, but I’m not a fan of most RPG music. 
• I am not a fan of the small autosave icon and no hard save menu option; it’s more frustrating when you’re out and about.
