  • Decent cartoon-like graphics.
  • 358.17MB download size.
  • Steam achievements.
  • Full controller support.
  • Graphics settings – fullscreen on/off.
  • Twitch linking option.
  • Pachinko roguelike gameplay
  • Ballipedia fills in when you collect new items in the game and lets you examine them.
  • Unlocks can be earned and you use a vending machine interface to get a random drop where you choose one of three random items.
  • Full stats screen on your profile.
  • Unlock and equip a profile picture.
  • Three game modes – standard, custom, and lab.
  • Lab lets you create, share, and download other player creations.
  • Custom lets you change every aspect of the gameplay.
  • In-game cutscenes.
  • Triggers are the items you collect and select, you place them wherever you want on the game board and when the ball hits the trigger the trigger effect kicks in. It can be money or it could make something happen.
  • Every time you draft triggers you choose one from three choices each time. You get told what each does before you pick.
  • Tutorial pop-ups as you play. Optional.
  • A combo bar comes up and shows what triggers you hit.
  • Levels are called tributes and they set out what you need to do in order to clear the tribute.
  • You can use re-rolls for triggers, you earn more re-rolls by playing.
  • Triggers can be broken or taken out by certain factors.
  • Tributes will have a goal and you get X amount of drops to roll.
  • Unlock and use passive abilities to affect how the game plays out.
  • Bonus points are awarded by setting up triggers that give you food, and carry food into special triggers for major points.
  • Every run is unique as everything gets randomized.
  • The boards will get random starting trigger placements.
  • 2D game world.
  • The game sounds very confusing and a lot to take in but it honestly takes no time to get into and get addicted.
  • You can share boards you played on.
  • It’s a very addictive game, it’s chilled out and you lose track of time.
  • PURE ADDICTION AND FUN!

Ballionaire Review Cons:

  • It will take a few runs to get used to the flow of the game.
  • I’m not a huge fan of how you get the unlocks etc but this is more because it is not straightforward.
  • This is more a me thing but man it took a long time for me to unlock new stages and modifiers.
