Barnstorm Launches Countdown App On Android And iOS

Barnstorm Games today announced the launch of the iOS and Android Apps based on the hit show, Countdown.  Barnstorm, publisher of #1 Apps The Chase and Tipping Point, has launched an App that gives players the chance to take on the show’s word and number rounds themselves.  Crossword and number puzzle enthusiasts, as well as fans of the TV series, can now enjoy the challenge of Countdown on their iPhone®, iPod® touch, iPad®, iPad mini™, Android™ Phones and Tablets in the official App of the popular, long running show.  Available on Google PlayApp Store and Amazon Appstore, priced at £1.49.

“It’s great to be able to give Countdown fans the opportunity to take part in the show’s famous word and number challenges on their iOS and Android devices.  It’s no coincidence that the show is the longest-running television programme of its kind; it’s a terrific format that has been made popular with generations of fans and it lends itself so well to a mobile game.” stated Simon Jeffrey, CEO of Barnstorm Games.
