The Beam App Rolls Out to Select Xbox Insiders

The Beam app on Xbox One is now available for select Xbox Insider members, giving gamers more choice over their gaming experience and where they want to watch their favourite streams – whether that’s on Xbox One, Windows 10 PC, iOS or Android. The Beam app on Xbox One enables viewers to watch their favourite streamers – both interactive or non-interactive – with virtually no delay, so streamers and viewers are always on the same page and can engage with each other in near real-time.

And in case you missed it, gamers can already Beam broadcast through the Guide on Xbox One and the Game bar on Windows 10 PCs. We’ve enabled built-in broadcasting on Xbox One and Windows 10 PCs because we wanted to make it easier for gamers to start their live game streams without any delays so they can quickly connect and engage with their viewers no matter where they are.
