Big Fat Battle Preview Cons:

  • FYI it’s a demo so no Steam achievements.
  • Menus are crap and it’s so easy to quit the game as they have the buttons all laid out wrong.
  • Cannot combine any buttons for either keyboard or the controller.
  • The controller doesn’t work for all the menus.
  • Feels unbalanced with the weapons.
  • As the weapons you buy are random it can easily get one-sided.
  • At a draw, they just give the win to what seems like a random team.
  • The shooting is great on some guns and bad on others.
  • Lag in any way is bad.
  • Spawn camping is rife.
  • When you win it’s very lacklustre.

Gaming since the Atari 2600, I enjoy the weirdness in games counting Densha De Go and RC De Go as my favourite titles of all time. I prefer gaming of old where buying games from a shop was a thing, Being social in person was a thing. Join me as I attempt to adapt to this new digital age!
