Blazing Trail Review Cons

  • No real game options.
  • You cannot remap the controls.
  • The game is not twin stick, and each gun shoots a set direction or only shoots the way you are facing,g which is very frustrating and a huge bummer.
  • You can not see the controls when playing.
  • The music all sounds the same.
  • Facing helicopters and the like is frustrating more because you never know when you are hitting them.
  • The checkpoints are not that great, and you have to do a lot of replaying.
  • Enemy shots are known to go through buildings and other enemies.
  • Just moving around and aiming is a real pain.
  • So many boxes and barrels that you cannot blow up.
  • Walls and doors that can blow up take an unhealthy amount of bullets to blow up.
  • It honestly feels like you are made of glass.
  • The scenery is a hindrance more than anything as it hides soldiers and obscures the path.,
  • The game overall is just more frustrating than challenging.

Gaming since the Atari 2600, I enjoy the weirdness in games counting Densha De Go and RC De Go as my favourite titles of all time. I prefer gaming of old where buying games from a shop was a thing, Being social in person was a thing. Join me as I attempt to adapt to this new digital age!
