Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 Review Cons

  • On the Xbox Series S, the game does chug quite a bit, slowdown makes movement look sluggish, and the whole game is not as clear and clean as the X version, and indeed, the cloud streaming version.
  • You cannot remap the controls.
  • The music is very fairytale-like like and for me personally, I just didn’t like it.
  • Learning of the parries and dodges takes some getting used t,o and il be honest, I’m still bad at it now.
  • More a personal frustration, but I hate how hard it can be to predict an enemy’s tell for dodging their attacks.
  • The game ended.

Gaming since the Atari 2600, I enjoy the weirdness in games counting Densha De Go and RC De Go as my favourite titles of all time. I prefer gaming of old where buying games from a shop was a thing, Being social in person was a thing. Join me as I attempt to adapt to this new digital age!
