Dragon Is Dead Preview Cons:

  • No Steam achievements.
  • Cannot remap the controls for either the controller or the mouse and keyboard.
  • Doesn’t have any graphics settings at all.
  • Can’t see the screen properly as the big solid HUD takes up way too much space.

  • You don’t actually pause the game.
  • No voice work.
  • Missing a lot of explanations and tutorials on some of the mechanics.
  • The tutorial pop-ups can be late to show you something as you have already worked it out yourself.
  • Small text with no options for it.
  • Can be hard to work out what a platform is.
  • Climbing ladders is a real pain and is not smooth, accidentally press a button and you fall, the animation is slow so you never get the timing right of getting off the ladder and attacking.
  • The skill tree takes a while to get good.

Gaming since the Atari 2600, I enjoy the weirdness in games counting Densha De Go and RC De Go as my favourite titles of all time. I prefer gaming of old where buying games from a shop was a thing, Being social in person was a thing. Join me as I attempt to adapt to this new digital age!
