Another year and another formula 1 game is upon us. F1 2022 is last year’s game with a few more extra tweaks and better graphics fidelity in a nutshell. But it also manages to innovate the series. For me, this is the year that an F1 game has not hit a new high but maintained the high standard of last year’s game. I can’t put it on one individual thing but instead, I think it’s the year everything clicked into place and had the necessary adjustments and additions to make a cohesive and solid offering, the controls are so smooth and responsive, I found that using a steering wheel is an absolute game-changer, you can adjust so much and it really makes it the definitive experience. , I would still do full weekends to improve lap times rather than skip to race, of course having upgrade resource points tied to practice definitely motivated me. Sure little has changed overall but it set me up for a better time straight away in my career. I can easily say this game has improved and feels a lot better over last year’s edition and is a solid offer for F1 fans and driving fans, in general, you should check it out, I cant see many faults and it’s all win-win for F1 fans. In closing F1 2022 is a game that has refined the F1 game to within an inch of its life, From fluid familiar controls to jaw-dropping graphics and sound work, F1 2020 is the F1 game for gamers. Those who like to tweak and adjust their cars will be pleasantly overwhelmed with all the many options available to them and brings it all together in a way that can only be described as excellent. F1 2022 isn’t a game that steps up higher than previous games but it does just enough to keep the high standards intact.

Gaming since the Atari 2600, I enjoy the weirdness in games counting Densha De Go and RC De Go as my favourite titles of all time. I prefer gaming of old where buying games from a shop was a thing, Being social in person was a thing. Join me as I attempt to adapt to this new digital age!
