Summary

Fireworks Mania is a lot of fun. It allows you to live out your pyrotechnics wet dream. Spawn and place the many many fireworks in a location and off you go! Not a lot can really be said, it does what you think, no story nothing to slow you down like limiting the number of fireworks, nothing. With this laid back approach you could accuse the game of being lazy or no point but to be honest it’s more a way of expression, in these difficult times it’s good to be able to still have things like fireworks amd who doesn’t love blowing shit up! For me, it meant I could do the fireworks and not stress my dog out (had to wear headphones as the noises are realistic and do trigger her). I came away from it liking it but it is just a casual game, one where you dip in from time to time and have a laugh, Perfect substitute for the real thing and a brilliant way to blow off steam.

Gaming since the Atari 2600, I enjoy the weirdness in games counting Densha De Go and RC De Go as my favourite titles of all time. I prefer gaming of old where buying games from a shop was a thing, Being social in person was a thing. Join me as I attempt to adapt to this new digital age!
