- The menus are very Escape From Tarkov, with a lot of menus and dragging and dripping items all over the place. It’s busy, but it’s also relatively easy to pick up.

- You can place your own waypoints.
- It’s a hardcore sim type of game, it doesn’t give you a lot of information or feedback.
- You can lean around corners for shooting.
- Meters to keep an eye on are – blood, hydration, energy, weight, intoxication, and radiation.
- Using items is real-time and slow, so there are no quick fixes here.
- You can loot enemies.
- Simple to use drag and drop management system.
- When you quit the game you keep your stuff if you are in a friendly zone or you lose it all if you are in the enemy territory.
- When dragging guns around the game will highlight all compatible ammo and attachments for that gun.
- Warfare is the definitive version of the game as you lose stuff on death or as above, you never know who’s friendly or not and you can choose what if any loot you take out with you.
- I do like that you always spawn into a safe area so you cannot immediately get smoked.
- It’s a very tense experience.
- Best played with friends, more so you can work out what’s what.
- It is one of those games where every game session is unique and different.
- There are story elements, and you find them within the world.
Gray Zone Warfare Preview Cons
- Slow initial load time.
- The game does have the dreaded compiling shades loading bar.
- You can only change factions with a character wipe or server wipe.
- No native controller support.
- Graphics don’t have a benchmark test.
- The character creator is plain and not that in-depth.
- The AI is not always great. I’ve had them doing amazing shots from like 12 miles away, and then I see one just walking into a stop sign over and over.
- It’s a game where you need a wiki open at all times otherwise you could and will be walking around aimlessly for hours.
- The text is small and hard to read even for us goggle wearers.
- There is hardly any tutorial support so be prepared to watch videos and read posts on what’s going on and what to do.
- I have a good gaming laptop setup, but I could never get the game to run well or look particularly great.
- Slow To shutdown and end in the Steam interface.
